We did It!

6:00am  : I am up and doing all of dad's Saturday morning chores, because he is at the farmers market. after that I grab the stuff that I didn't pack last night on to the back of the truck that I am allowed to drive and that it out to the truck and trailer.

7:00am  : I have come in and am doing my hair, a.k.a lodes of hair spray.I have cleaned up and am running around trying to find my show number, a.k.a. freaking out.

8:30  : I have found and got together everything my aunt that is coming with us is here and mom and I go to load molly. She hops on like no big deal and then we close the trailer, and she flips, and I mean loses it.

9:00  :I am wondering if this was really that good an idea we are driving down the road and ah is SCREAMING bloody murder and moving around frantically. I am now in tears, 2 years of work and then this.

10:00  :she has calmed down a tiny bit, but not much, I have run out of tears. I just want to get this over with.I am eating a blueberry breakfast bar, we just pulled into the show and now I am so scared , that i am shaking in my boots.

10:30  :We unload molly and she is perfectly cool with the whole thing, It is like she knew how important this is to me.

11:00  : She is tacked and groomed and is being awesome, she loves the other horses, and the speakers are no big deal, we did the cake walk, so she saw the ring from the inside and now our class is being called.
SHE WAS AMAZING! we took a third out of 6 riders. and then in our next class we took third out of 9 riders. Then...we did the best rider  yet, in a class of 13 we got fourth, we were told to walk, trot, turn, walk, extend the walk, extend the trot (keep it in mind that the extended walk and trot are her natural gait, so I am thinking that we have this in the bag) the judge tells us to line up in the center of the ring facing away from her.

Done, then the judge asks at trick question: walk five steps to her, and back up straight. I was the only rider that backed up straight, but when I turned, I saw that the rider that was right next to me was have trouble  with her horse and I knew that if I turned molly towards her that she would lose control of her horse,  so I knew that it would put me at the bottom, but I turned to the outside of the ring. and then I got a sixth in between my thirds, but I was so happy about my thirds that I don't really remember much about that ride LOL
